I have been eating here I restaurant and for take out for 40 years and am happy to say that I am passing it on to my kids. It is the best chicken and fries. My kids always take the hot chicken sandwich. The service is fast. The staff are great and the fries they give to the kids I'd kind and generous. This is an institution. Simple, consistent, and great!!!

Walking in to this restaurant is like walking in to a time warp back in to the 50's. Chalet BBQ has managed to remain virtually unchanged since it opened 75 years ago but has managed to remain relevant with a high standard of quality, taste and value. In my opinion this probably one of if not the best rotisserie's in Montreal. The plates are always hot and fast and served with a mountain of fresh cut fries. I'm have never been disappointed.

Best chicken and fries I’ve ever had! My Boyfriend introduced me to this place and it’s quickly becoming one of my favourite. Great service on a busy Friday night and the amazing chicken noodle soup was just what we needed on a very cold night!

The best rotisserie chicken in Canada. Probably the best in the world. Their sauce is amazing. Try the new poutine. Outstanding!!

With my father, I used to collect pickup chicken here decades ago. We would eat it at home. That was 1960........and having visited yesterday it has not changed one bit ....and that is great! The best BBQ chicken anywhere in the world and a true Montréal delicacy - with a wonderful secret sauce for the chicken (and chips that are always "well done"). Always great!
